I am interested in your recod. I have a great grandmother Alice Toson who was supposedly illegitimate. But her Dad's surname was Whalen. I am not sure if my family has the info straight. Is there any other information on the certificate? We are from MA. Please email me.

I would be very interested in the adoption record. Annie is my great-grandfather's sister. Both of her parents died and I have not been able to find what happened to the children during this time. I do have records of Annie getting married later.

Hi Crystal, I notice the date on your original post was 2001, but I'm researching a line that is confusing. There is an Annie that married a whalen and as I dig deeper, there is also an Annie that was part of the same line that was a whalen. I would be very interested in knowing more information. I am going to try to send you a message in case you don't check this board any more since its been about 9 years. LOL
