Does anyone have a copy of this? I am trying to find out if it contains any information on my ancestor David Milburn who was injured in an indian attack either in or near parker county in 1859 or 1860.

Do you know who wrote the book? I am going to Weatherford before Thursday to get blood work done and will stop by library.

I have the book in hand. I ran the index in the back and didn't find anything on David Milburn. Sorry. If you can give me further information about David I might be able to source him somewhere else.

I too have a family member who is rumored to have been killed in an Indian Raid on his way into Weatherford around the same time. I have been looking for years! I have went to Parker County, bought several books, etc. The best thing that helped was books.google.com has a search site for Double Log Cabin other Parker Co. books. My relative was listed there in Parker County's citizens who were entered into the Lamb's Book of Life. If you do find anything, please let me know. Thank you!

I checked my book, A fate worse than Death Indian captivities in the West, 1830-1885 by Gregory and Susan Michino, and didn't see David Milburn listed in the index.

I talked to an associate of Doyle Marshall. She said that he said to quit printing them. You and all the folks out there that want this book should personally write him a letter and ask him to please release another printing.
