One of the largest draft groups of the war left the Hallowell Selective Service Board Tuesday morning for Fort Devens, Mass., to enter army service. Men in the group had been on two weeks leave after passing physical examinations at Portland. In the group were: Donad S. Dupont, Ellsworth L. Howe, orris E. Buzzell, Adrien Morneau, Roger . Lane, John L. Cripps, Edward W. French, Joseph E. Cough, Armand S. Fleury, Thomas J. French, Douglass G. Jenney, Richard R. Lidstone, Chesleigh H. R. Bachelder, Lloyd C. Jackson, Harold E. Gile, Francis B. Clark, Sheldon E. McDonald, William F. Robbins, Virgil A. Bennett, John W. Quinnan, Joseph P. Tobias, Wellington E. Lancaster, Charles W. Newcomb, Clayton H. Reed, Robert P. Webber, Merrill A. Cutler, Joseph E. Arnold, Charles D. Sheldon, Ervin M. Bickford, Everett R. Lee, Joseph W. Maskewich, Francis M. Hinckley, Lawrence O. Tardif, Bernard Hanson, Benedict R.
