Clagg Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller was born Wednesday, May 27, 1908 in Elgin,
Iowa to John Frederick
Miller and Marie Katherine Frautschy
Miller. He died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000 in Enid.
On Feb. 11, 1932 he married
Sena Mae
Lubben in
Buffalo Center,
Iowa. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1978. He later married Minnie Bell Warren, she also preceded him in death. He married Mabel Rachel
Blagg who preceded him in death.
Mr. Miller grew up in
Iowa, where he attended school. He farmed until the early 40's, when he began a career in furniture sales. He operated a grocery store in Steamboat,
Iowa with his wife, Mae. After his retirement in 1978 they moved to
Sulphur. He was active in the
Baptist Church as a deacon, Sunday School and choir and Quartets. He was a member of the
Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter,
Mavis Siewert, Enid; one son, Jim
Miller,
Ada ; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Arthur Miller; two daughters, Shirley Ann
Miller and Karolyn Sue Miller; also two brothers, and four sisters.
Pallbearers were Elmer

Bud McGuire, Dale
Roberts, Derrell Payne and Major
Clagg.
