Surnames: Korndorfer
When I was young in the 50's my parents gave me an Iron Cross 2nd Class. They said that it was from an uncle who was in the Kaiser's army. Are there any Korndorfers who received the cross in ww1. I know of 5 relatives who died in the Kaiser's army.

The EKII was awarded to millions of solders. Initially, the names of the recipients were published, and I recall coming across one such digitized list but off hand can't remember where. However, this discussion may be of interest:
