Looking for info about this Sarah M. Loy. She was married to a Joseph W. Waller b c1836, Apr 7 1867 in Howard. They was in 1880: Moniteau, Howard, Missouri. They moved to Pike, Illinois between 1800-1900. I guess they died between those years. Thier children got married in Pike Il around 1892-1893. Charles R. Feb 1867, Lydia N. Nov 1872,
Ida J. c1873, Mary A. c1875, Paul Mar 1880.

Theres was'nt that much Loy's in Howard but I found alot of Lay's around that area. I found this Mary Lay b. c1850 in 1860, She lived with Samuel Garber & Leatha Garber. Leatha was Littrell & married to Alfred Lay.

There was a James Loy married to Eunice Bailey or Bagley in Glasgow in the 1830's and 1840's. They had a daughter Mary who was born around 1836 in Franklin Cy, Ohio. She is in Glasgow in 1850 and gone in 1860 (married, died or moved. I have not yet been able to tracce her). Her father and mother moved to Chariton (near the settlement of Chariton across the county line from Glasgow) by 1870 and her father was dead by 1880. Her mother had followed a nephew to California. I do not know if there is any connection but since your relative was Sarah M Loy I thought I would check.

That could be her. On her marriage her name spell Loy.

I have found her daughter Ida Jane Daniels death certificate. It say's her mother name is Sarah Mayham. So, Sarah's middle name could be Mayham. And also had her father name Joseph Walters.

Ida was born in Fayette, Howard, Missouri and died in Pleasant Hill, Pike, Illinois.
