Your grandfather Davis Eugene Coe, son of Otis and Lizzie Pearl (Lee) Coe, was born in 1933 in Meriwether County, GA. He died July 1, 1991, in Spalding County, GA. He was married to Ruth Pearson, who was born April 28, 1936, and died in April 1988 at Griffin, GA. They lived in Meriwether and Spalding Counties.

I.D. Coe, oldest son of William A. and Susan (Litchfield) Coe, was born May 30, 1882, at Athens, TX. He was a farmer in Texas and Oklahoma. He died January 4, 1964, in Lawton OK.

He married (1) December 16, 1901, in Henderson County, TX, Ida Holt, died March 20, 1904 in Wise County, TX; (2) Susie Bohannon, born August 11, 1895, in Wise County, TX, died September 1982 in Stephens County, OK, daughter of Henry Clay and Mary Frances (Washburn) Bohannon.

A farmer in Comanche County, OK, and at Walters, Cotton County OK, he was later employed by Armour Company. In his later years he lived at 1708 NE 34t1 Street, Oklahoma City, OK. He was struck by a car and killed December 4, 1956, in Ok1ahom City as he walked from a bus stop to his home. The driver was seventeen-year-old high school student Harold Dobson, who was charged with driving at excessive speed. He was a Jehovah Witness. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.

He married Emma Lou Bohannon, born July 30, 1882, at Sulphur Bluff, TX, died July 20 1965, in Oklahoma City. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Emma Coe was my husband aunt. Mattie Bohannon Chance was hernbaby sister.

I was very glad to get your message, I have often wondered about my fathers parents, my dad is no longer living and my mother isn't very helpful when asked about dad's parents, I remember many family gatherings at my grandparents farm in Blanchard, OK as a child, the Coes were a close family, I know very little about the Coes beyound my grandparents, can you fill me in on their brothers and sisters and where their parents came from, dad never really knew. I can share this about the rest of dad's family. Aunt Uda was married to Harold Fleming they ran a small grocery store in Oklahoma City most of their married lives and had several rental properties, they adopted 3 children, Delone not sure but I think she was born in 1940, Rusty born 1945, and another son whose name escapes me at the time, Ocee and Harold are both deceased now, if you would like better dates let me know and I can get the information for you, Bernice never had any children, she never married untill late in life, she also is deceased. Ocee married first a Jimmy Littlepage they had 4 sons the oldest was Jimmy Donald, the next Jerry born in 1941, Dewayne and Paul was the youngest, Ocee divorced her first husband and was latter married again but I do not know who she was married to Both Ocee and her oldest soon are now dead they are burried in Ark.,Lucille married Steve French, they had one daughter Sharon Denise she is married lives in Oklahoma City I can get her married name if you want, Aunt Lucille passed away last summer with cancer she is burried in OKCity, Cecil Ray married Bessie (don't know her madien name can get it)they had 3 childred, the oldest Charlotte was born about 1935 not sure about that, Cecil Jr born 1942, Rihard born aboout 1949(he took his on life I think I can't say that for certain)both Cecil and Bessie are dead, Herman was first married to Daisy (don't know her madien name but can get it) they had 4 children Laverne the oldest born in 1941, Marion born in 1944, Rudessa born in 1948 and Marvin not sure when is birth year is I think about 1950 or 51, Marvin died just this year.Herman was married for the second time to Olean and his last wife was
