I in the need of some help. I am looking for a family memeber that i believe was born in Oklahoma. Her name is Adelina Cruz maybe born around the 1900, although she was known to also use the name Zettie Lee Hattlet. This is a big mystrey in my family. The only documentation that I have that she was born in Oklahoma is a death certificate from one of her sons. Thats about all I know, I know its not much to go on, but any help would be great. Yes, this is very confusing....this is the story that I am getting for one of her grandkids.
I don't know her acutal name, some birth/death records of her children say Zettie and some say Adelina. Well they tell me that this is the same person. That she kept changing her name for some reason. It might have something to do with she ran away with Jesus Veracruz. Im jsut not sure This is a big mystery in the family and I can't figure it out. I also know that she died as a different name, here in Texas. So thats where I am stuck. I havea death cert. from one of her kids and it said she was born in Oklahoma, thats the only reason I poseted to see if maybe I could turn up something. Thanks for you help.
