Any 1900-1910 marriage records available for Wolfe CO?

I am looking for a marriage that would have occurred 1900-1910 and probably after 1904. Groom lived in Breathitt Co, bride in Wolfe Co on all know census readings. The groom was Jeremiah Brewer, may have been listed as Jesse Brewer. The bride's maiden name was Elizabeth Pratt but she had been married twice before, first to a Banks and then to a Back. So her name on the Brewer marriage could have been noted as any of the three, Pratt, Banks, or Back. If no local volunteer is available can anyone tell me just what years of records are in existance for Wolfe Co and are they kept at the county or the state level? Thanks!

I have Wolfe Cty. KY Marriages for 1903, 1907, and 1909 in a booklet form but Elizabeth is not shown as Back, Banks or Pratt.

This booklet was transcribed from vital statistics film, roll #5000130 by Helen P. Horne,148 Chester St., Hazard, KY 41701-1947. She may have additional information for other years?

Other transcribers were Mary Walker and Wilma Johnson. I don't have an address for either of them.

Hi,
There are a few records for Wolfe Co. but most were destroyed in courthouse fires. The are a few for 1903, a few for 1907 and a few for 1909. That is all that is available for Wolfe Co. from 1900 until 1913.
There are some for 1861 and 1874-1878. The same goes for birth and death records. The courthouse fires really played havoc with records.

You can check out the Wolfe Co. Genweb page

for other records.

Hello,
My name is Amber Lawson Salmons, you can find some marriage records on-line, you need to go to Kentucky Marriages 1900-1910 and then go through the records you are looking for, the only records I have actually found on line is for Kentucky Marriages Book, I, 1913-1918, but they do have marriage records in Campton, Wolfe County, Kentucky, Library, also you may be able to find records under Kentucky births if you now if there are children, that is how I found my grandparents marriage, that and I found their marriage cert. in my grandmothers papers. I have their original. I have seen the names you have mentioned before, but I could not find where in any of my paperwork. Thank you.

Hmmm...I wonder if this is MY gggrandfather, Jeremiah Brewer(1852-1913). He was married first to Louisa Lawson, after her death married second to Eliz Banks. From my understanding there are no marriage records remaining in the county, due to two different courthouse fires.
