I'm looking for descendants of my great-grandmother, Ruth Vogt, born near 1900 in Germany and emmigrated to the US around 1910. She had a brother named Jimmy who was in the navy.

There is a Ruth Vogt, that was my grandmother. Most likely not the one you are looking for. My grandmother was born in 1912

Thanks for the reply! My grandmother was born around 1895. Is there any possibility your Ruth Vogt could be a neice or a cousin to mine? This family lived in Kansas. They were German immigrants though I don't know just when they came over.

Thanks!
Rosey

Rosey, I noticed your message of Vogts in Kansas. Was your grandmother's married name Vogt? My grandmother had written an address for a Lawrence F. Vogt in her Bible along with other several other addresses (such as her son and her nephew's military addresses), so I feel this person and/or his wife was important to her. Don't know if they were kin or just friends. Her maiden name was Kamradt and her mother's maiden name was Krisch. Her parents came to America from Germany in 1909, arriving 2 months before she was born in Beria (or Iberia), LA. Do you have any info on Lawrence Vogt who was living in Kansas City, MO at least during WWII? Thanks, Sue.
