I am looking for my Father Kjuresh Dekalita's Family. His Father was Samuel Dekalata, born August 6,1893 in Turkey (I think) He Married Dorothy Samac in Chicago in 1921. She was born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia in 1903. He had a brother Kenneth Dekalata and a sister Elizabeth Dekalata of Bagdad, Iraq. Both my father and his father are deceased. The family name has had many different spellings since comming to the United States.

Paula: your request mentioned the name Dorothy Samac from zagreb, I believe this is a sister of my ancestor Ivan Samac (Marinic), they were from Goljak Croatia. Her parents would have been: Joseph Samac & Hannah Golisic. If you have Any information on her or any of the Samac line I would be very interested in sharing and learning more.
