I am so happy the obituary was beneficial!

But, I am sorry, I can't offer any other information about the family.

My grandfather, Claude Mathews was from Sullivan County Indiana and he raised his family there for many years before moving to Tucson.

As my grandparents, my dad, and others in the family have passed away, I have accumulated a lot of newspaper clippings they had saved.
Apparently, since I am the "family genealogist" I inherited the clippings and articles.

As I continue to research my own family trees, most of the names in these inherited clippings do not seem to be blood-line connected to my family trees. I can only assume these folks were friends, neighbors and associates of my grandparents and their children.

Some day, I may figure out who these folks are and why my grandparents clipped the articles. But in the meantime, I have posted them hoping that they can benefit others. Apparently, your grandmother and my grandparents knew each other - - somehow.

Steve
