I am looking for any information on Joanna Whitfield who married Roert t Lindsey i would like to know who her parents where

I have a great grandfather Martin Whitfield Porter who had a son he named Shelton Whitfield Porter (called Pete). The former was born in Hiram 12/25/1853. He had a place right beside the railroad in Paulding Co. AND WAS A BLACKSMITH WHO DID WORK FOR THE RAILROAD. It has been the habit of my family to give the mother's maiden name as a son's middle name. I am trying to find out who Martin's parents were. He died in 1927 and is buried in Flint Hill Cemetery in Poplar Springs. Thank you so much for any information!

I have never heard of him Joanna Whitfield was my grandmother and allof her Children are dead i never got interested in ancestery untill it was to late and now it is hard to find any thing about them it is ahard family to trace i will let you know if i find any thing about the Whitfields

I have a Joanna Whitfield born 5 Aug 1884 in Clark Co, GA & died 30 Oct 1952 (am assuming in Paulding Co, GA) buried at New Hope Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding Co, GA.

Her father was William M Whitfield born 28 Feb 1842 in Newton Co, GA & died 22 Jan 1914 in Paulding Co, GA - burial in New Hope Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding Co, GA

NOTE: William M Whitfield is a direct descendant of mine.

Her mother was Martha A. Spinks born Nov 1848 in GA & no death info.

Her husband was Robert T. Lindsay/Lindzey born 2 Sep 1884 & died 22 Apr 1957.
