Phebe Crane Married Thomas Canfield, Need proof that she was Daughter of Jasper Crane and Alice. From CT to Newark, Essex NJ. Jasper lived in newark till 1681.

I don't believe that Phebe CRANE was a daughter of Jasper
CRANE. Some historians and genealogists think she was his
sister. If her bd is really 1626 she is closer in age to
Stephen CRANE b abt 1630. Please contact me if you would

According to what is posted, Joseph B: 1676 and Abigail LYON are a couple generations below where Phebe CRANE B: 1630 Weathersfield, Hartford, CT and Thomas CANFIELD, Jr. B: 1623 ENGLAND, seem to be listed.

Was this line of family finally resolved???

Seems that Joseph is listed as son of Jasper Jr and Joana SWAINE CRANE, son of Jasper and Alice.
