How did you get to Texas? Most of my husband's ancestors are in the LaFourche/Terrebonne Parish area. My husband's paternal grandfather Oleous LeCompte was a carpenter and worked on St. Francis de Sales church in Houma and a lot of their descendants are buried in the church cemetery.
