Looking for an Elizabeth Garringer or her daughter, Vonnie
Garringer. Believe there was also a brother of Vonnie
named Virgil. Vonnie would have been born in the early
1900's and moved to Kansas as a child.

I found a Elizabeth Garringer in my family history. She was born April 27, 1857 in Livonia, Putnam County, Missouri. Her parents were Absolom Garringer and Delilah Ann Martin. I don't have any information on her children as of right now, though.

Your Elizabeth Garringer is the same as mine! This is cool! I have a lot of Garringer information, so let me know where you need a little help and I will be happy to respond if I can help.

By the way, Elizabeth was actually the step sister of Absalom Lincoln Garringer. Her father was James Wilson Summers and Nancy A. March. After Nancy died, James married the widow of Absalom Lincoln Garringer, SR.who were the parents of Absalom Lincoln Garringer, Jr. Absalom Sr's widow was Delilah Martin. Sometime after the marrage of James and Delilah, Elizabeth married Charles Alfred Garringer, who was the son of Absalom Sr. and Delilah. Therefore, Elizabeth's step mother became her mother-in-law.
Have I thoroughly confused you yet? I think I've confused myself.

Elizabeth and Charles were my great grandparents. Elizabeth was married 6 times, twice to Charles and 4 other men. In fact, one of her boyfriends killed Charles during an argument over how the boyfriend was treating Elizabeth.

Didn't Charles also have a sister by the name of Elizabeth besides his step sister. I don't show the 2 of them with the same birthdate. I have Elizabeth Elenor Garringer b: 27 apr 1857 and Elizabeth A Summers b: 10 jan 1881. okay, you have got me confused now
