My Grandmother's maiden name was Von Krusze....The family was from French Gulch Ca..her parents were Lida and Gustaf Von Krusze.

In the 1920s there is living in Shasta Co an Ora F Krusze with two small children Donald b.1920 in Sonoma Co, and a girl b.c.1922-1923 named Bellingham?? Who was her husband? What is Ora's maiden name? The CA birth index on Donald gives his mother's maiden name as BROOKS but I cannot find an Ora BROOKS b.2/22/1900 or 2/22/1901 anywhere! I think she might acutally be Ora F Dewey, my grandmother's first cousin. Can anyone help? Ora F Krusze was divorced before 1930 and married Nelson C Wheeler as she is buried in French Gulch as Ora F Wheeler. Nelson and Ora are living together in the 1930 census and his marrital status is ??. FIrst first wife, Eva/Evaline Chauncy, had remarried by 1930 to Joseph C Spencer and they were living in Vallejo, Sonoma Co, CA. Nelson and Eva's only son Glenn is also buried in French Gulch. HELP!

My family all came from French Gulch...My great grandmother was a Chauncy who married a VonKrusze.
I understand that a member of the family took the Von off and that is where the Kruszes came to be. My grandmother was the daughter of Lida (Elizabeth) Von Krusze and Gustaf Von Krusze. I know nothing of Bellingham or her brother...Another thing that has been haunting me is My GG's youngest daughter Sybil Von Krusze died probably at the age of three and they named a gold mine in French Gulch (the Sybil Mine) in her honor...I don't know what she died of, or where she is buried...the courthouse there does have her records and i am trying to get there this year. I live in Vegas..

hi, my name is brittany dawn krusze im 18. i know my lastname should be Von Krusze but its not i dont know why. but my granpa was dawn krusze. and i have an uncle dawn who lives in redding cali. and my dads name is doug. i have one older brother who is 29, and a younger sister who just turned 15. i dont know about my dads family at all. just that i went to a cemetary in redding where it had all krusze's and it was by my grandma's house. i dont qiute remember it was ona summer vacation back in the 1st grade. but i know my dad has 2 other brothers i think one died. and one lives back east. i dont really know my mom and dad sepaerated when i was little.

I live in Redding Ca, and there are alot of Kruzes buried at the LawnCrest Chapel where i live and my grandfather is buried there. My grandfather was beaten by an 18 year old who my father did not know, but he remembered his mom and a family friend took him and his siblings out of town and had nothing to do with the murder until couple days or year later, i can't remember, but all I know that there is the LawnCrest Chapel off of Cypress Ave that has the last name of Kruzes.

My dad is from French Gulch Calif and is buried their with my great grandpa Gustof VonKruse.I have never meet any of my family on my dads side but im sure their out their.
