I have a Laure Tessier b: 1842 m to Zoe Viau with a daughter Marie Angelina Tessier. However, the parents' of Laure are: Antoine Tessier and Aure'lie Darpentigny....what information do I have wrong? I know that Antoine had a son named Laure...or a similar spelling but perhaps I have the wrong bride.

The death date you gave for Leandre Tessier is actually the death date for his son, Magliore who maried Julie Lalonde. This information comes from the death record available on ancestry.com.

My records give the same marriage date for Antoine Tessier and Aure'lie Darpentigny of 28 Jan 1845, St. Timothee, Que, Canada. However my gr.grandfather, Joseph Tessier dit LaVigne was b: 14 Jan 1842 and he is the son of Antoine and Aure'lie. There is enough proof of this from several records and family members.

I'm not sure if Laure Tessier and Leandre Tessier are the same people and I'm not even sure of the birthdate of either of these men. It is possible and probable that Laure/Leandre were born later than the previously suggested 1842. As I consulted my records I then found that that date would be impossible since my gr. grandfather was born in the year of 1842.
