Is there any way to find out a burial place for someone in Hoerdt, Pfalz, Bavaria?

I believe my Great Great Grandparents died in Bavaria.
Their names are Conradi Scherrer & Elisabethae (Fischer) Scherrer. I don't have their birth dates or death dates, but know that they lived in this area when 3 of their children were born between 1866 & 1871. The Birth/Christening record gives the place as:
ROEMISCH-KATHOLISCHE,HOERDT,PFALZ,BAVARIA

Also, looking for a marriage record too.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Shirley Hazelwood

Hello Shirley,

the marriage record is filmed by LDS. The infos available online are:
Batchnumber: M99190-4
Groom's Name: Conradum Scherrer
Bride's Name: Mariam Elisbetham Fischer
Marriage Date: 03 Jul 1865
Marriage Place: Roemisch-Katholische,Hoerdt,Pfalz,Bavaria

About Hoerdt:
Since end of WWII the district 'Pfalz' is no longer an area of Bavaria, since then its in Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate).

About graves in Germany:
Graves are usually rented for a certain period of time, maybe 15 to 40 years. The length of time that a grave can be 'leased' varies from place to place in Germany. So don't be surprised to discover that you cannot find the grave
of an ancestor or other family member, even if that person is known to have died and been buried there.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
Bea

Yes, that is very helpful! Thanks!! I knew that the actual burials spots are changed but was wondering if I could find out where they died. I am presuming they died in that same place but have no proof. I am also looking for a record of their son, Bernardus b. 13 March 1868. I have only found his birth record over there so far.

Thanks again, Shirley

Go to www.hoerdt-pfalz.de or www.ruelzheim.de and ask for
records or the cemetery to the "Standesamt" Hoerdt.
Good luck.
