Heye (Jürgen) and Wilhemina(e) (nee Freidrich) Eckhoff from Holtrup, Ostfriesland (East Friesland?), Prussia, Germany Two of thier daughters, Philippina (Bina) and Margret (Maggie), married Peter Redenius in Pea Ridge, Brown Cty, Illinois. I believe the two sisters had another sister named Anna she married Anton Leerhoff. Possibly a brother Jürgen? This during the late 1800's.

Does anyone have anything in common with this family? I don't know how to find out when they came from Germany. I'd like to know about any other children.

My G-grandmother's maiden name was Eckhoff, she was Johanna Anna Fünke. My grandmother's married name was Anna Adelheide Kück, maiden name Fünke. She came from OsterHoltz-Scharmbeck. My grandmother came over in 1888 and settled in Brooklyn New York. My g-grandmother came over in 1906 and died in 1926 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetary in Brooklyn New York. Some of the Eckhoff's also came over and lived in Brooklyn on the same street as my grandparents.

My gg uncle Fred Fisher was married to Emma Eckhoff, who's parents were both born in Germany. Fred and Emma farmed in Montgomery County, Illinois and had four children, Harold Homer Fisher (1905-1974), Mildred Augusta Fisher Fite (1907-2001), Hilda M.
