I am looking for the parents of William Levi (Buck) Taylor, born ca 1857 Gillispie County, Texas. He was the "Orginal King of the Cowboys" in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. He died in 1924 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. His brother Bax was born in January 1856 in Gillespie County and died in Fremont County, Wyoming, as a result of a broken neck after falling from a wagon. ANY INFORMATION will be appreciated.

Micheal: The information I have states that Buck Taylor's parents were John Taylor and Nancy Reilly from the Taos region of Texas (now New Mexico). Buck died in Pennsylvania of tuberculosis. If you know his wifes name, I'd appreicate you passing that back to me. She seems to have no name. Oh, and Buck's birth date is October 15, 1857.

I have read that his father was a member of the Texas Cavalry at the beginning ofthe Civil War, but I cannot find him on any rolls.
