Freecen is an exciting project to transcribe and make available as a `free to view` database the 1891 census returns for Hampshire. I am one of three County Co-ordinators appealing for volunteers to help us. All you need is a computer and access to a microfiche reader. We supply everything else including the micrfiche and software.
If you are interested please contact me Dave Philpot on
davsyb@eurobell.co.uk. An overview of the whole project can be seen at http://freecen.rootsweb.com/

Regards, Dave.
