I am looking for history on my ggrandfather Antonio Gonzales Prieto,born 5-13-1867-69. Born in Consejo de Castropol,Asturias spain. I immigrated from Spain as a young man to Havan Cuba.never returned to Asturias. to a Domingo Prieto and Minerva Tancreido( I believe not sure)

Prieto family harvested olives,cork and other legumes. They would deliver to small insudtries located on the shores of many little rivers in the area of oveido and nearby Galicia. They made their deliveries in some knid of Canoes called Jangadas which were moved about with varas.

He passed away in El Paso Texas on October 25,1950

You can print out the copy of his death certificate for FREE. It states that he was a cigar maker and died from exposure. States he was divorced. Says he was born in Spain and his Father's name was also Antonio Prieto. Says his Mother was born in Spain too but her maiden name is Unknown. He was born May 13, 1870 and died on Oct. 23, 1950 in the hospital in El Paso, TX and is buried at Evergreen Cemetary in El Paso, TX
