I am searching for Giles and Lydia Hunt Stannard. In the 1870 census they lived in the town of Elmira. They lived in the Greatsinger School House district. Their daughter,Mercy R. was interned in the Greatsinger Cemetery in 1874. There is Stannard road off of the Jerusalem Hill Road that is a dead end. Giles Stannard who you talk of was my great, great grandfather and the house you are talking about is the one I grew up in. Our family no longer own it as we have all moved away from the area.
His son Frank was my great-grandfather.
I have information about Lydia Hunt's family, because of her family Bible.
