While I was hunting for my Great grandmother's headstone in West Union Cemetery near Montezuma in Parke Co. I remember seeing several headstones with the name of Chezum or Chezem. I remember think what an unual name. Let me know if they would be in this area and the next time I am out that way I will take my digital camera with me and take some pictures for you.

Yes, the headstones in West Union Cemetery near Montezuma in Parke Co. would be for some of Daniel Chezum's siblings and their families. There may even be some that are spelled Checcen. Many of Daniel's siblings spelled their name Chezem, others, like Daniel, spelled it Chezum. Thank you, I appreciate your offer to take digital pictures and will look forward to seeing them.

Barb,Thank you so much for your reply. I knew Janet when she was born. She is the daughter of Stella Daily Chezem. I think we are 2nd cousins? She has an older sister Carolyn Fay Chezem born 1952? and Daniel Chezem born 1962, I remember family get togethers in Harbor City,California in the 60's. But our families have lost touch. I am trying to find Janet. I have information that states her father is Harold Chezem but that is not the name we called him. Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate your kindness.
