I am looking for information on Judson Owen. Born in 1841 in St.Lawrence County New York. Moved to Waupaca County in early 1860's to St. Lawrence Township. Married Philomelia Hopkins. Had Three children, Sylvia, Austin and Judson. Philomelia died in 1867. Judson stayed, Married Mary (?), Bought property in 1869, sold in 1876. I can't find him in Waupaca County in 1880 census. His son Austin lived his whole adult life in Ogdensburg. Married Kate Everts in November 1884 and is Buried in Park Cemetery. If any one has information on Judson, I would appreciate a note.

I noticed your last name is Peters, my maiden name is Peters as well. My grandmother is Arlene Owen (married Herbert Peters) born to Hudson Austin Owen and Coral Glenn Wing. Arlene was the oldest of 7 children, other sibs were Beulah, Lee, Eutha, Glen, Ruby, and Austin. This family lived in Ogdensburg during the 1920 census.

I am researching Owen from St. Lawrence County, NY, Dodge County, WI and Waupaca County. All are descended from Abner Owen of CT and VT.

I have located at least 8 offspring of Abner Ownenand Lucretia Severy. Ethan, Thomas, Phoebe, Sarah, Abner, Mary, Susan and John.

The elder Abner was in Salisbury, VT from 1740 to 1799. I still do not have the name of his wife nor his daughter born in Salisbury, CT.

I have been researching the desc of Abner Owen of CT, Vt, NY & WI. I originally thought that the WI connection was only in Dodge Co where Abner and Lucretia Owen moved at the end of their lives. They lived with or near Ethan Owen and Phoebe Pratt, later Phoebe Finney, at Oak Grove.

I would like to share Owen data as I have 8 offspring of Abner & Lucretia Owen, including later generations of Judson and Austin. I would also like to contact current Owen researchers especially in the Waupace region.
