I would appreciate a look up for Robert Campbell. I have very sketchy information, but will give you what I have:

Born between 1760 and 1770, probably VA or NC. No info on his wife, but children were Jeremiah, Isaac, Mathew, Hugh, Nancy, Mary Ann (Polly), Secula, all born between 1793 and 1815 in Knox Co., TN. Supposedly a land bounty was granted to this Campbell family for Revolutionary War service in this area of TN. Robert died between 1831 and 1834 according to probate records in Shelby Co., Indiana.

I know this is not much, but would appreciate any help.

A search of our Patriot Index provided 16 different men named Robert Campbell. Unfortunately, none of them matched your criteria (b 1760-70 VA/NC, d 1831-1834 IN). This does not mean he did not service in some capacity during the Revolutionary War. It simply mean no one has joined DAR using his service.

This is my Robert Campbell Patriot. My 5th Great Grandfather... I would like more information on joining the DAR under him. I have more Patriots, but I like the elusive part.
