William R. Carroll died at 18 Rue de La Culture, Brussels on 8 April 1910. He was born in Co. Clare, Ireland and had worked as an architect in Brussels for a number of years.
Any knowledge on him or where he was buried in Brussels would be very welcome

"rue de la culture" is the same street that is listed as where the famous British nurse Edith Cavell took up a post as head of L'École Belge d’Infirmières Diplômées. The street doesn't appear to exist any longer...but I suspect that it was in the Brussels commune of Uccle where there is a hospital and street named after Edith Cavell.

Have you tried looking for William Carrol in one of the cemeteries in Uccle? You could try the old cemetery Dieweg. The telephone number for the cemetery is 00 32 2 374 1750
