Hi, could anyone help me, I'm looking for information on the following listed in the 1880 Census for Van Zandt County

William M. Mosley age 10
Linney C. Mosley age 7

Mary E. Mosley age 2
Elozo P. Mosley age 3 months
Enoch D. Mosley age 3 months

I have information on my great grandfather William M. Mosley from 1910 Census and newer. But nothing on anyone else except this one Census. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

If you will use the FamilySearch website you will find it most helpful as it soundexes first and last names and you will find some death certificates. Nothing found on twins Elonzo and Enoch Mosley. You should also utilize the Texas US GenWeb for free records.

James Mosley, father of William, does not appear in census records again until 1920 in San Augustine county living with son Starling Miles Mosley born appx 1882. Wife of James Mosley is supposed to be a WAITS/WAITES, married in Smith county in 1869.

Frances Parlee Moseley death certificates says father was Starling Moseley and mother was Nancy Short per Nancy Joachimi. It appears Nancy Arsula was named after both grandmothers. I think Frances Parlee was a Litney, dtr of William Tyler Litney and Nancy Short.

Problem is I could not put Arsula and Christina Waites together in the 1860 census to find their parents.
