Since you are doing research on Hodges from Missouri, any info on a John Robinson Hodges or an Edmund Hodges, who were brothers from Syracuse, Morgan County, Missouri and who also served together in US CIVIL WAR in 33rd Missouri Infantry? They are also buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetary on "O" highway south of Syracuse.

No, I have never heard of those names. Can't get past Nellie's parents, don't even know where they came from.

The given name of Edmund in your Hodges family would seem to indicate relationship with the NC family (of which my ancestors, Edmund Keneda Hodges and his grandson Edmund William Hodges are a part), as well as the VA family that I'm still trying to connect to.
