Am looking for any data on John Henry Gates, born Canada.
Married to Lovina Durrant at Morgan, Morgan, Utah in 1876, they later moved to Oklahoma. Their first 3 children were born at Morgan. Also looking for anything on William Manhardt, died 28 Dec 1872 and his wife Jane Gates (who is aunt to John Henry Gates) she died 28 Oct 1874 at Morgan.

David, I would be most interested in anything that you have on the Gates family, I can't seem to find John Henry's grandfather Abel Gates or I have seen his name as Abraham Gates. I do have a lot of Canadian research on this Gates family, and am led to believe that possibly the grandfather Gates was not born in Canada, but perhaps in the United States.
