Location of Ninsted

My Great, Great Grandfather came from a place called Ninsted in the Kingdom of Hannover. He left for England when he was about 13. I have his naturalisation papers. I have been unable to locate Ninsted - this is how the place is spelled on the English document. His name was George August Adolph Heimbs. He settled in Newcastle on Tyne in 1849. Can any one help me find:
1. Where Ninsted was
2. Which port the family may have sailed from
3. Who his parents might have been? He was born in about 1836. I have tried the Ancestry searches both in English and German without success.
Thanks,
Linda.

Ninsted is no German place name. But Nienstedt and Nienstädt are. See this website: http://wolfgang-ewig.de/ortschaften/nienstedt.htm
The owner has informations about the Heimbs family between 1835 and 1845 in Nienstedt, now Bad Münder-Nienstedt in Lower-Saxony, formerly in the Kingdom of Hannover. The years are nearly matching. Try to contact the owner. Good luck.
