Surnames: Hampton, many unkown, and one soon to be found.
In Brentwood, TN, there is a cemetary with no name. There are 32 graves marked with little red flag markers. Only two graves have names printed on them. I have only seen one. The name is Ava Hampton. She was born in 1820 and died in 1908. So far I've found no matches on any website. I am soon going to take flowers down to all the graves, but I felt that I should find out some more information about this poor forgoten woman. Next time I visit the cemetary I'll take down the epitaph and the name, dates, and epitaph on the other grave so I can give people more information. If anyone can offer information or needs information, let me know! I'll also take pictures on my next visit which I'm hoping will be within the week.

This is in Williamson County, TN. I went to the cemetary today and foud out a little more. There was a middle (or maiden) name that was hard to read. It was something like Ailla. But I couldn't tell for sure what it was. She was born August 13, 1820 and died April 3, 1908.

I also found the other name. It was Mary Scales Cole. She was born August 20 18( the stone was broken and so I couldn't read was was after the 18, but she was born in the 1800s). She died on September 16 (possibly 18), 1912. The epitaph read "She reaches(?) her hand to the poor. Yea she reaches her hand to the needy. Her children shall rise up and be blessed."
Any information on her would be welcome. Thank you!
