Hi, am looking for information on Sheldon Clemet Mecomber..aka Charlie Rose. We do know he died in North Platte, Nebraska Jan 1920.

Hi Terry,
Sheldon was the police chief here in North Platte when he was shot and killed by some guys trying to rob a place. There is alot of information about him if you want copies. I was wondering why they called him Charlie Rose. That's the first I've heard of it and I thought I knew alot about the man.
