Archie married Ada Inez Hall and they had Ada Catherine Carter
Ada Catherine married Benny Bell and they had 2 sons (unknown names) and a daughter named Christine.
These folk were cousins to my grand parents Walter Russell and Ada Long Seay.

I would love anything you could send me on the Carter & Dennis family's from Rappahannock County. I hit a road block there. My GGrandfather was Charlie Turner Carter who married Emma Lee Dennis. From memory I believe they were both in the 1880's. Emma Dennis did not have a father listed on her birth certificate or records I could find. Just a Mary Dennis listed as mother. Charlie Turner Carter's father's name was James Arthur Carter. Charlie had a sister named Elzora Carter who married a Weaver and I believe James Arthur Carter is buried on the old Weaver family property.

I know nothing about the Dennis family side. I had a cousin who went up there asking around but got a cold shoulder from people. She said they didn't seem to want to talk about the Dennis people for some reason. I think James Arthur Carter's fathers name was Isaac Carter.
