What is the name of the immigrant as found on the manifest?

What is the name of the ship?

Bukova is a very common Slavic placename and there are perhaps dozens of places in that part of Poland and western Ukraine which were part of the old Austrian Province of Galizia when you GGmother immigrated

Immigrant name is Catherine Nagoshefski with 3 children with her ship is SS Wieland sailed May of 1883 lists her from Bukova Ossteriech, and yes I saw Bukova was popular, ship sailed from Hamburg, If this is my grandmother I have nothing else to compare town to, all census say different places she was born in like Russia/Poland and Austria

Well I am still working on it
No father/husband name yet
Daughter 1 only says Poland on death cert and mother signed for first marriage
1st son on 1900 census alien, gone by 1910 ( might have link to him with a mine death in 1904
Son 2 just started on him but census shows being born in US and Poland
Daughter 2 dies young we think
Daughter 3- have to order her death cert yet
Census' all have different years for immigration plus name was changed to Nogic

You're welcome.

Can you attach a scan of the arrival manifest? I don't have a paid subscription to Ancestry.
Most of the time death certificate do not contain correct information.
Who and when change the surname to NOGIC? Possible thru naturalization? Might check into that.

I guess my private e-mail did not reach you yet from last night.

The spelling is not as the poster stated. And it is not a ship manifest. It is a port of Hamburg passenger list
