Can anyone tell me if in the 1930's or a bit later, there was a home or special school in Lake County? I am not sure why my cousin was there - until recently I only knew it was in the Chicago vicinity.

She had been adopted in Labrador by my aunt and uncle - her name was Eva Grenfell Corey, born 20 Dec 1917. I have discovered she died on February 1, 1940. I would like to find any information I can about her. The record I saw said she had been buried in Barrington. I would appreciate any information anyone can supply. Thanks.
