Well, I'm embarrassed. Having posted that message a couple of hours ago, I've found new information which indicates that the Zephaniah Bell I'm interested in was NOT born in Europe, but in Sussex Co., NJ, and had a daughter Nancy and many other children besides. I also find that my particular line of descent from this man does not appear anywhere on the Internet. (It will soon, as soon as I get my Famly Tree Maker home page under construction.) If someone would like this information, please let me know. In the meantime - all Bell information would be appreciated!ppreciated!

I descend from Zephaniah Bell through his daughter, Maria, who married Peter Greenstreet. Would like to exchange.

I have been trying to prove my connection for years to Zephaniah's brother Isaac. However, I can tell you that Zephaniah is a "Son of the American Revolution." He was also sealed in the LDS church, so you should find records on him in the family search. Several children ended up in Greene Co., Pennsylvania.
