I am looking for any information on Angelit Trujillo Newton. She is reported to have been born abt. 1895-98 and married to Alfred Newton, son of Carlos Newton. They lived in the Alamosa/Costilla county area and were married abt. 1910. I found them on the 1930 census in Alamosa with some of their children but I could not make out all the names of their children. Any information on their children and on Angelita's parents would be appreciated. Thank you.

An Angelita Newton is buried in Alamosa City Cemetery. She was born on 8/2/1881 in Ft. Garland COO and d on 6/8/1968 in Alamosa. Her parents were Jose Trujillo and Augustina Sandoval. Alfredo Newton is als buried here. He was born on 7/2/1880 in Trinchera, CO and died on 3/29/1957 Alamosa.

I found a birth record for Margarita Newton, born Oct. 5 1911 and baptized at Sacred Heart Church in Alamosa 1 month later. It shows her as the daughter of Alfredo Newton and Angelita Trujillo, godparents: Ramon Garcia and Fidelia Trujillo. I will be looking at more baptism records for Alamosa. I will let you know if I find more.
