I am unable to find, with certainty, the children of the above couple and their birthdates. I've tried the Barbour collection with no results.

I use to have all kinds of info.on the whole Lester clan but lost it all when my computer messed up on me. But I do know that Jonathan & Deborah had a son. He's my husbands gr.times 7 grandfather. His name Thomas Lester Sr. he was born in 1727 in New London Connecticut. Thomas married a Mary Allyn, her d.o.b 1730. Together they had 7 children.
Hope this helps. I am just now getting back to doing research on these message boards. I love them. But it doesn't look like anyone uses them like they use to. Which is a shame.

Hello, just checkin in to see if you have run across in new info. about the Lester family? And if you should need any info. feel free to ask, I am more the willing to help if I can. It still upsets me to no end that I have to start from scratch, I had a ton of info. & some pictures as well.
O well, no sense in cryin over spilt milk, or lost info. is there? LOL It might not of been so hard to take if it wasn't for the fact that I had a few years invested in my family & my husbands side of the family. Hope to hear from you soon.

THE OTHER WAS JONATHAN LESTER DOB APRIL 9 1765 ALSO BORN IN LEDYARD. DON'T KNOW HIS DATE OF DEATH. HE MARRIED ELIZABETH FITCH ON JUNE 4 1794 IN NORWICH, CONNECTICUT. NO DATES FOR HER. MARY ALLYN LESTER WAS BORN JULY 4 1734 ALSO OF LEDYARD AND DIED AROUND 1821. THOMAS DIED AROUND 1788. IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING DIFFERENT THEN WHAT I HAVE GIVEN YOU, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE FOUND ANY NEW INFO. ON THE LESTER FAMILY.

Hello again,
I have back to Andrew Lester who was born around 1618 in Gloucestershire & died on June 7 1669 in Connecticut but that's all I have on him. Have his wife being Barbara but I have no maiden name for her, only thing I have for her is that she was born around 1620 in Gloucestershire and died in Feb. 1654 in New London, Connecticut. I have their childrens names being Daniel, Andrew, Joanna, Ann & there are 2 others I think. So if there is anything you can add to this that would be great. I'm not even sure of the dates I have for either of them.

Daniel was married 3 x's.
1. Barbara ?; probably in Gloucester, MA.
a. Daniel b. 1642 in Gloucester m. Hannah Fox 1669
b. Andrew b. 1644 in Gloucester m. Hannah Bradley 1674
c. Mary b. 1647 in Gloucester m. Samuel Fox 1675
d. Ann b. 1651 in Gloucester m. Nathaniel Millet 1670
2. Joanna Hempstead 1654 in New London -- no issue of this marriage
3. Hannah (Anna) Brooks 1661 in New London
a. Timothy b. 1662 in New London m. Rachel. These were my ancestors. I've tried for many years to find out Rachel's surname to no avail.
b. Joseph b. 1664 New London - can find no marriage for him
c. Benjamin b. 1666 New London m. Ann Stedman 1708

As to Andrew himself, I have 1618 as his year of birth and 07 Jun 1669 in New London as his date of death. I've never had time to go to the cemetery to read the exact tombstone inscription (assuming there is one), but that would be interesting.

I have a lot of information on the Lesters if you would provide your email address. I don't give out mine, but that's another matter.
