Looking for obituary for Osa Gene Parker. Idaho City Pioneer Cemetary. Death date Sept. 1, 1965.

Checked the papers for an obit in the Idaho World. Could not find one.

Thank-you. I am new at this research stuff....sorry. The cemetary records say that the marker is a Relyea Funeral Home marker. I would assume that if a FH in Boise handled the arrangements, and the buriel was in Idaho City, that he was buried there because his family was from the Idaho City area. Any thoughts as to why there is no obituary? Thanks for your help.

If he passed away in Boise, the Idaho Statesman would probably have the obituary. It did not run in the Idaho World, even though he was buried in Idaho City. There is a Joseph Parker buried here also. Dates would indicate a brother or nephew/cousin if they are related. May be he liked the area and requested burial here.
