I am trying to find out about Aukuso Ulberg, who is my mother's father. My mother's name is Katalina and her mother is Sela Maletino from Leauvaa. Katalina was adopted and raised by Sela's sister Felika and husband Polu Faaea.
The Ulberg family are from Lepea or Vaiusu, Upolu.
So if you have any information please help me.

hi.....in response to your search i'm not sure if this is of any help my my aunt Stella Reid is married to Chris Ulberg they live in Auckland New Zealand, where he is from in Samoa I'm not sure but if u need more info I can give them a call or perhaps you can write them direct?.....let me know if I can help

I am working on the Thomsen family tree and I am wondering if you may be able to help me if possible please. I have come across an unknown Ulberg lady married to a man named Henry Stowers. They had a son named John and maybe two other boys and a girl. Any light you are able to shed on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for information on the Ulberg's..

I know that the first one in Samoa was Peter Christian Ulberg and he married Soonafai Tuimalatu from Vailoa..

Just looking for information on the decendats if anyone has any information on the family, or anything like history notes of their immediate Ulberg side, i am looking to compile all the information that i can on the Ulbergs..

My mum's grandfather was an Ulberg and he married a lady by the surname Ah Lam from Vaigaga..my mum is from Lepea.

I have family in Vaiusu and Lepea, and my step mother's grandfather is from Lepea, and he was an Ulberg. I did a bit of research on the Ulberg side and typed out some information that i gathered, i might have to go looking for it again....though..but im sure i could help you out somehow, if i try hard enough...only if you need it.

Mr Ulberg, in Samoa pre 1880- H J Moors

Henry Ulberg born 1873 , of DH & PG , Faga, Savaii
manager- Cyclopedia of Samoa 1907

Henry Ulberg- Faga, Savaii, trader; registered halfcaste 1903

Peter Christian Ulberg of Palauli; trader; registered`half caste 1903

Private Frederick Ulberg born 3 April 1890; US WW1 draft- California, mentioned on Samoan War Memorial.

It would appear that Peter Ulberg, an American, came to Samoa pobably about 1870 or maybe earlier, married a Samoan lady, had àt least 2 sons in the 1870s- Peter Christian and Henry.

Frederick is possibly another later son, or a grandson, who went to America.
