Nathan Weed -born abt.1741-died 24 May 1815 age 74 yrs.from tombstone rubbing in Greene,Chenango Co,New York. David Jackson Cemetery. His daughter- Rebecca Weed Hayes born 1762-1826 w/o Nathaniel Hayes Jr.( Rev.War soldier) s/o Nathaniel and Elizabeth Holmes Hayes Sr.these familys were in Westchester Co,1776-,Dutchess Co. 1790,Cario, Greene Co 1800, Greene, Chenango Co. New York 1807- Need any Weed history as the parents of my 5th great grandfather Nathan Weed must be in Fairfield Co,Conn-somewhere.?. Nathan Weed and both Nathaniel Hayes Sr and Jr. in Rev. War. family history and I have Nathaniel Hayes Jr.papers and his migration travels documented on his pension claim. Thank-You for any data on Weed familys - Virginia D. White-Smith. Quitman,Georgia

Norwalk, CT vital records show "Nathan Weed, late of Stamford" had a daughter, Isabel, born 23 Jul 1751 (Land Records, Volume 9, page 554). This might be the father of the Nathan for whom you search. Perhaps you'll find him in Stamford

looking for information regarding Nathan Weed. I was advised of a Nathan Weed who was an anestor of mine. He was American Indian, has a Stewart family connection.Stewart family (all that I know) was in the New Jersey area -early 1900's
