We are trying to locate information about a Blanche H. Carels, who was born September 14, 1873, not sure whether in NJ or NY, USA. Her father was John Amos Carels and her mother was Mary. We think she died in Dorothy, NJ USA at an uncle's house whoes last name was Evans. She was my husband's Great Grandmother.

In the 1880 Philadelphia Census I found the following info:
vol.75, ED 556, sheet 20, line31

Carels, Annie age 41, born in NY
Carels, H. Joseph age 20, born in PA, (S)
Carels ,H. Blanch age 6, born in PA (D)
address 1614 Ellsworth St. Philadelphia

I have done a great deal of research on the Carels/Carles family of Philadelphia. I am still trying to fit this line in with the info I have. I am more than happy to share info.
