Hi Mr. Parrish, My father is a
Tessier from Baton Rouge, Louisana. He had 6 brothers and 1 sister, They had an Aunt Eulalie. Actually there were a few Eulalie's. I think I have a copy of an old painting of Eulalie
Tessier. I have been working on my dad's
Tessier lineage for about 3 years. I recently finished a 100 page scrapbook for him. I found many old photos, from relatives, Baptismal records, church records and marriage records to name a few. i am working on information about judge Charles R. Tessier of Baton Rouge,
Louisiana. He died in 1852 or 1853. I have the succession of his property at death and it lists his slaves. Nobody knows where he is buried. He was married 2 times, once to Catherine Clein and then supposidly upon her death he married her sister Lydia Clein. It seems it is hard to locate their info. What type of info do you have on David
Tessier DeVillauchamps? He I think is the brother to the Charles
Tessier of Baton Rouge that married a jewish girl Eleonre
Monsanto from the island of
Santo Domingo. I think I have some New
Orleans census records showing David and brother Charles. Please email me at
samcwheeler@yahoo.com Thanks.
