Looking for information on Isaac Wooster (b 1767/68 d, 1840) He wife's name was Huldah UNKNOWN (b. 1865). I believe Isaac Wooster was born in the Litchfield Co area and moved west into New York around 1790. Their children's names were Olive, Mabel and David Wooster. I found a 1820 Fed Census record that places an Isaac Wooster in Madison/Oneida Co area of NY. I saw one Public Tree that suggested that Huldah's surname was Hitchcock but, don't have any marriage or other records to verify.

I found the Isaac WOOSTER family....Perhaps you already have this. no indication as to wife Hulda's last name or where the family was living.

Hulda Wooster Born: October 4 1766 died March 12 1840 age 74

Olive Wooster Born March 10 1790
Olive WOOSTER married to Asahel JACKSON June 1st 1811.
Olive JACKSON married to Josiah HEWIT Oct 22 1823.

Mabel WOOSTER Born May 25 1792 died August 29 1826
Mabel Wooster married to Wm. J. CHILDS Dec 12th 1822.

David L. WOOSTER Born February 11 1800
David L. Wooster married to Widow Elizabeth WARREN September 15th 1836.

Thank you for the repsonse. Yes. I had come across the Family Bible about 6 months ago. Very little is documented on this Isaac Wooster, though based on his birth date of abt. 1768 and the migration of Litchfield folks into the Madison Co. and Oneida Co. area 1790-1800s, it appears his father was Jabez Wooster and he had a brother named Peter Wooster who lived in the New Milford area of Litchfield co.

I did a goggle search for Jabez Wooster and Peter Wooster in New Milford,Ct. Isaac Wooster's name showed up with them a couple of times so this is probably a good place to start....
