My grandmother had a book that contained an account of a school bus that got stranded in a blizzard in the 1930's (if I remember correctly). It also seems like a memorial was erected to honor those who died. Does anyone have that book or an account of the incident and the location of the memorial, if there is one?

I know this was posted several years ago, but I think the book was called "Children of the Snow"
I am trying to gather any info on the short-lived town of Queen Beach in Kiowa County, which was a dipping station for cattle around 1900 and it was on the west edge of Lower Queen's Reservoir.
