Rovida Whittington Hester Rovida Whittington, 69, of Bakersfield, Calif., died Jan. 29, 2003. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at East Fork Cemetery in Amite County. Catchings Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Whittington was born Oct. 9, 1933, in Augusta, Miss., the daughter of Melvin T. and Hester Ruth Wilson. She was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church, formerly Temple Baptist Church, and assisted as an interpreter for the deaf at Temple Baptist Church. She was a teacher in the Bakersfield City School District for 30 years. Mrs. Whittington was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maxie Martin Whittington; and his parents, Thomas Esco and Annabell Whittington. She gave birth to my mother in law in 1963 in orange county califoria.
I know she was born in november..year is unknown even by her own children.
Full known name is linda eileen mckinder and been missing from the family since 1969.

Is Mckinder , Linda's married name or maiden name as I went looking for your m-i-l and there is no female Mckinder born in Orange County in 1963 !!!. I have to find Linda's birthdate so I can find what name she is under now . If I can find where Linda was born, I can find brothers and sisters and maybe a lead to where she is now .

If your mother-in-law was born in 1963 lets assume that Linda Eileen McKinder was about 20 years old when this daughter was born so that would make her born around 1943.

Does her daughter have any idea what age she would be now?

Does she have Linda Eileen McKinder's husbands name (your mother-in-laws father?)

Are there any male siblings with a name and app. age we could look for?


I didn't find a birth in California for anyone in 1963 under the name McKinder. This is all the listings available for that time.

Notice that all the first group have the same last name for the mother (Daniels) usually that is the mothers maiden name. I included these just in case these might be Linda Eileen McKinder's siblings if McKinder was her maiden name, but if it was her married name these would not apply.

Didn't know if this might be a marriage for her grandfather if McKinder was her maiden name, but if not maybe this would be her husbands grandfather.
