Looking for someone who knows of the Cotmani? area of Romania
My grandfather was born there in 1907, he passed away in
1990. (in canada). I would like to find out more about his parents and their parents:
Petru Calenciuc, father John Calenciuc, mother Ann Fichuk?
or Pareska Fichuk (or this could be his grandmother)
John's father was Nicholas Calenciuc.
His ship crossing listing showed Paraska Calenciuc as being in Cz Slovakia (in 1927).
Any information would be appreciated.

My grandfather was John Fichuk and came from Romania. Unfortunately most older members are dead now. My daughter is just doing a school project and digging for info. I don't remember any mention of Ann but if i come across anything i will let you know
