In 1915, Charles & Jennie traveled to Africa to become missionaries, in 1928 they returned from Rhodesia, Africa with their two children, both born in Africa and settled in Tenafly, Bergen County, New Jersey, they are listed there in the 1930 census, with their two children:

(1) Stewart Samuel AISTON (ba.1920), he went on to marry Martha VIRION, became residents of Piermont, Rockland County, New York, they had five children, four now residing in New York State & one in Vermont, numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
(2) Jean W. AISTON (ba.1924).

My Great Grandmother was Mary Ann Aiston born 1838 daughter of Andrew Aiston and Margaret Gray. I have quite a lot of information about this family.
I believe that Charles had 2 further siblings - Benjamin Frederick born 1882 and Percy born 1890. He also had further relatives who were living in the New York area.
